Who we are

• In September 2008 our partnership with Christchurch Marlborough was expanded by the welcoming of Ramsbury and Aldbourne Methodist Churches into the partnership creating the Marlborough Section of the Swindon and Marlborough Circuit.

• The original partnership was formed with the belief that we can work more effectively together as one organization and this has been further enhanced by the two new churches, all who are linked by sharing the same minister.

  Rev Heather Cooper comes to us from a circuit in Leeds, although she has family not far away in Wootton Bassett. Heather began her ministry in Falkirk in 1987 and while there she married Neale Cooper. Since Falkirk they have been in Warrington, Colchester and Morley (South Leeds). She became a superintendent while in Colchester and has been the superintendent in Morley. Coming to the Swindon & Marlborough brings her closer to home as she grew up near Reading.

• We are part of the Swindon and Marlborough Methodist Circuit, which is in the Bristol District of the Methodist Church.
